Dosa
Ingredients
For The Basic Batter
- 3 cups rice
- 1 cup urad dal
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- Soak the rice and the dat for few hours and grind it with the required quantity of salt so as to form a loose batter.
- Leave the batter aside for a few hours to ferment.
- Spread one spoonful of batter on greased Lava as thinly as possible. Pour 1 teaspoon oil over its edges. When the base is crisp and golden brown, turn over and cook the other side. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
- Serve hot dosas with chutney or sambhar or sauce.
- Any filling can be used to make masala dosa.
