Lapsi Idli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat rawa
  • 1 cup sour curd or buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp til oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
  • 1 red chili, broken into pieces
  • 1 green chili, minced

Method

  1. Roast the rawa slightly.
  2. Mix the rawa, buttermilk or curd and salt till well combined.
  3. Heat oil and fry the seasoning ingredients.
  4. Pour it over the batter and mix the batter thoroughly
  5. Pour the batter into the idli moulds and steam it for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
