Mixed Dal Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup moong dal
  • 1/4 cup chana dal
  • 1/4 cup masoor dat
  • 1/4 cup urad dal
  • 1/4 cup tur dal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tsp coriander leaves

Method

  1. Soak the entire dais for an hour.
  2. Grind the entire dais along with the salt and the required amount of water so as to form a smooth batter.
  3. Grind green chilies, onion and coriander leaves to a fine paste.
  4. Mix the dat batter and the ground paste till well combined.
  5. Pour 1 spoonful of batter on a greased tava, as thin as possible. Pour 1 teaspoon oil over its edges. When the base is crisp and golden, turn over the other side and cook. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  6. Serve hot with curd, chutney or sambhar.
