Moong Dal Idli
Ingredients
- 1 cup moong dal
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
- 2 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- Roast the dal till the raw smell disappears.
- Soak the dal for an hour.
- Grind the dat along with the salt and the required quantity of water into a thick batter.
- Mix the batter with the masala paste and the coriander leaves till well combined.
- Pour the batter into the idli moulds and steam it for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
