Sprout Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 3 bread slices
  • 1/2 cup mixed sprouts
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves, ground to a paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil

Method

    1. Cook the sprouts along with salt till tender. Drain well.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and stir in the masala paste and fry.
    3. Add cooked sprouts, and the coriander leaves paste. Mix the contents thoroughly and remove it from fire.
    4. Remove the crust from the bread slices and divide the sprouts into 2 portions.
    5. Spread one potion of the sprouts on a bread slice, place another bread slice over it, spread another sprout portion over it and top it with a bread slice. Press the slices gently.
    6. Toast it till golden brown on either side.
    7. Cut the sandwich into 2 triangles.
    8. Serve hot with any hot sauce spooned over it.
