Vermicelli Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • 2 onions, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies minced

Method

    1. Roast the vermicelli till light brown.
    2. Heat oil and fry the seasoning ingredients. Add the onions and fry.
    3. Stir in two cups of water and salt.
    4. When the water begins to boil, add vermicelli and cook till the contents are tender and dry.
    5. Serve with sauce or chutney spooned over it.
