Ambadi Dal
Ingredients
- 1 cup ambadi leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup moong or tur or masoor dal
- 3 flakes garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp ghee or oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
- Few fenugreek seeds
Method
- Mix all the ingredients till well combined and pressure cook with a little quantity of water.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Add the cooked dal mixture, mix the contents thoroughly end cook for a minute.
- Serve hot with rice or roti or chapatti or bhakra.
