Egg Pullao

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 egg, half-boiled and chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil

Method

    1. Wash and soak rice for an hour.
    2. Cook the rice along with the salt till tender and dry.
    3. Heat oil in a pan and stir in the masala paste and fry.
    4. Add the chopped tomato, garam masala powder and cook till the contents become thick.
    5. Add the chopped egg and rice mix the contents thoroughly and cook for a few more minutes.
    6. Serve garnished with 1 or 2 egg slices.
