Radish Leaf Dal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tender radish leaf, chopped
  • 1/2 cup moong or tur or masoor dal
  • 1 cup tamarind juice
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • A pinch of asafoctida
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp ghee or oil
  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 2 red chilies, broken into pieces

Method

    1. Mix all the ingredients and pressure cook.
    2. Heat ghee or oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    3. Stir in the cooked dal, mix the contents thoroughly and cook for a minute.
    4. Serve with rice or chapatti.
