Sprout Surprise
Ingredients
- 1 cup moong sprouts
- 1/2 cup tamarind juice
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic-ginger-green chili paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
Method
- Cook the sprouts till tender
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Add tamarind juice, cooked sprouts, garam masala powder, masala paste and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander leaves and grated cheese, with roti or chapatti or bread slices.
