Sprout Surprise

Ingredients

  • 1 cup moong sprouts
  • 1/2 cup tamarind juice
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic-ginger-green chili paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds

Method

    1. Cook the sprouts till tender
    2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    3. Add tamarind juice, cooked sprouts, garam masala powder, masala paste and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
    4. Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander leaves and grated cheese, with roti or chapatti or bread slices.
