Tomato Dal
Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup moong or tur dal
- 1 tsp curry leaves
- 1 tsp coriander leaves
- 1 tsp mint leaves
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp ghee or oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
- 2 green chili, minced
Method
- Mix all the ingredients, along with the required quantity of water and pressure cook.
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Add the cooked dal mixture and cook for a minute.
- Serve hot with a rice or chapatti.
