Tomato Dal

Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup moong or tur dal
  • 1 tsp curry leaves
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp mint leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp ghee or oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
  • 2 green chili, minced

Method

    1. Mix all the ingredients, along with the required quantity of water and pressure cook.
    2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    3. Add the cooked dal mixture and cook for a minute.
    4. Serve hot with a rice or chapatti.
