Yellow Cucumber Dal
Ingredients
- 10-12 cucumber cubes
- 1/2 cup moong or tur dal
- 1 tsp coriander leaves
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1 tsp mint leaves
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp ghee or oil
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp curry leaves
Method
- Mix all the ingredients with the required quantity of water and pressure cook.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Stir in the cooked dal mixture and cook for a minute.
- Serve with rice or chapatti.
