Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 4 tsp boiled and shredded chicken
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed aniseeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp butter

For Garnishing

  • 1 tsp grated beet root

Method

    1. Mix the chicken stock, pepper powder, cumin powder, crushed aniseed and salt till well combined.
    2. Boil the above mixture for 5 minutes and strain.
    3. Heat butter in a pan and slightly fry the shredded chicken.
    4. Now mix the liquid and the shredded chicken.
    5. Serve hot, garnished with grated beet root.
