Mixed Dal Pudding
Ingredients
- 2 tsp mixed dal
- 1 cup milk
- 2 saccharine tablets or a few drops of sweetex
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 tsp saffron strands
Method
- Pressure-cook the dais with the required amount of water. When slightly cool, blend the cooked dal, milk, cardamom powder and saffron strands.
- Return the milk mixture to the flame and cook for a few more minutes.
- Stir in the non-carbohydrate sweetener and mix the contents thoroughly.
- Serve hot or cold as desired.
