Mixed Dal Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp mixed dal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 saccharine tablets or a few drops of sweetex
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp saffron strands

Method

  1. Pressure-cook the dais with the required amount of water. When slightly cool, blend the cooked dal, milk, cardamom powder and saffron strands.
  2. Return the milk mixture to the flame and cook for a few more minutes.
  3. Stir in the non-carbohydrate sweetener and mix the contents thoroughly.
  4. Serve hot or cold as desired.
