Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 onions, ground to a paste
  • 1/2 tsp butter or ghee
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger juice
  • 2 cups water

For Garnishing

  • 3-4 pieces of rusk
  • 3-4 mint leaves

Method

  1. Heat butter and fry the onion paste, till light brown.
  2. Add water, ginger juice and salt. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Pass through the strainer.
  4. Serve hot garnished with rusk pieces and mint leaves.
