Onion Soup
Ingredients
- 2 onions, ground to a paste
- 1/2 tsp butter or ghee
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ginger juice
- 2 cups water
For Garnishing
- 3-4 pieces of rusk
- 3-4 mint leaves
Method
- Heat butter and fry the onion paste, till light brown.
- Add water, ginger juice and salt. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Pass through the strainer.
- Serve hot garnished with rusk pieces and mint leaves.
