Ragi Idli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method

  1. 1, Clean and soak ragi, dal and the fenugreek seeds overnight.
  2. Grind them separately and mix them along with the salt so as to form a thick batter.
  3. Leave the batter aside for some time, to ferment.
  4. Pour the batter into idli moulds and steam for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with sambhar or chutney.
