Ragi Roti

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi, (dried and powdered)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method

  1. Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight, drain, dry and powder.
  2. Mix all the ingredients with little quantity of water so as to form a smooth dough.
  3. Divide the dough into lemon shaped balls. Roll the balls on the floured board as thinly as possible and toast it on a tava with 1 tsp oil, till golden on either side.
  4. Serve hot with curry or chutney.
