Flavoury Egg Curry
Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten thoroughly
- 12 small leaved tender methi bunches, chopped
- 1 tsp tamarind pulp
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp butter
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
Method
- Heat butter and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Mix half the quantity of salt in the beaten egg. Stir in the egg and scramble.
- Stir in the chopped methi leaves, tamarind pulp and the remaining quantity of salt. Mix the contents thoroughly and cover the pan with the lid. Cook on a slow fire till the leaves are tender.
- Serve hot with bread or chapatti.
