Mutton Supreme
Ingredients
- 100 gm mutton, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp saffron, dissolved in a little hot water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 3 onions, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp green chilies, minced
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp lime juice
Method
- Rub lime juice and the salt on the mutton pieces and marinate for 2 hours.
- Rub the mutton pieces with a little butter and bake it in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
- In the meantime, heat the remaining quantity of butter and fry the minced onion, ginger, green chilies.
- Add curd, saffron water, cardamom powder and coriander leaves.
- When the contents begin to boil, add the baked mutton pieces, mix the contents thoroughly, cover the pan with the lid, and cook occasionally turning mutton pieces till the contents turn thick.
- Sprinkle a little chopped onion on the dish and serve hot with rice or chapatti.
