Prawn Kofta Curry
Ingredients
- 100 gm prawns for the koftas shelled and deveined
- 1 potato, peeled, boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp semolina, roasted
- 1/2 tsp ripe red chili paste
- 1 tsp mint paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oil
For the Curry
- 1 cup cucumber, grated
- 2 tsp coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup butter milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
Method
- Boil prawns with salt till tender and dry. Chop it.
- Mix the chopped prawns with the remaining kofta ingredients till well combined and shape the mixture into marble shaped balls.
- Heat oil in a pan and toss the prawn koftas on a high flame till brown. Drain well.
- Stir in the curry ingredients in the same oil and cook till tender.
- Add the prawn koftas, mix the contents thoroughly and cook for a few minutes.
- Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
