Saunf Chicken
Ingredients
- 100 gm chicken pieces
- 2 tsp aniseed paste
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup saunf (aniseed) leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp oil
Method
- Mix the curd, masala paste, aniseed paste, lime juice and salt till well combined. Marinate the chicken pieces in it for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a 2 liter pressure cooker and stir in the marinated chicken and the saunf leaves. Mix the contents thoroughly and pressure cook.
- Garnish it with fresh saunf leaves.
- Serve hot with steamed basmati rice or chapatti.
