Special Chicken Curry
Ingredients
- 100 gm chicken pieces
- 2 cups chauli leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger chili paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 onion, ground
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 red chili, broken into pieces
Method
- Mix the masala paste, half the quantity of the salt, onion paste and the chicken pieces till well combined. Leave it aside for a few hours to marinate.
- Heat oil in a 2 liter cooker and fry the mustard and the red chilies.
- Stir in the marinated chicken and the chauli leaves along with the remaining quantity of salt and a little water. Pressure cook till tender.
- Garnish the dish with the grated cheese and serve hot with rice or chapatti.
