Banana Inflorescence Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped flowers (remove the stamens)
- 2 tsp tur dal
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp coriander leaves
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
- 1 tsp curry leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Stir in the chopped flowers, dal, masala paste, salt and the coriander leaves with a little quantity of water.
- Cover the pan with the lid, cook on slow fire and the contents are tender and dry.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
