Banana Stem Curry
Ingredients
- 1 small tender banana stern, chopped
- 2 tsp moong dal
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp lime juice
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 green chili, minced
- 1 red chili, broken into pieces
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Stir in the chopped stem, dat, salt along with little quantity of water. Cover the pan with the lid and cook till the contents are tender.
- Just before removing it from fire, add mustard powder and the lime juice. Mix the contents thoroughly
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
