Bottle Gourd Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bottle gourd cubes
  • 2 tsp moong dal
  • 2 tsp coriander dal, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger chilli paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
  2. Stir in the vegetable, dal, masala paste, coriander leaves and the salt.
  3. Add a little quantity of water, cover the pan with the lid and cook on slow tire till the Contents are tender and dry.
  4. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
