Cabbage Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 tsp moong dal
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp green chili-ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin and mustard seeds

Method

    1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    2. Stir in the cabbage, dal, coriander leaves, masala paste and salt. Sprinkle little water on it, cover the pan with the lid and cook on a slow fire till the vegetable is tender.
    3. Serve with chapati or rice or as a filling for a sandwich.
