Ladyfinger Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lady finger, sliced
  • 2 Onions, chopped finely
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder or sambhar powder

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds

Method

    1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    2. Stir in the lady finger and the onion along with the salt and sprinkle a little water over it. Cover the pan with a lid and cook with occasional stirring till the contents are tender and dry. Add chilli or sambhar powder, mix the contents thoroughly and cook for few more minutes.
