Radish Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup radish, chopped or grated
- 1 tsp moong dal
- 1 tsp coriander leaves paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Stir in the chopped radish, dal, coriander paste, masala paste, turmeric powder and the salt.
- Add a little quantity of water, cover the pan with the lid and cook on a slow fire till the vegetable is tender and dry.
- Serve hot with rice or phulka or chapatti.
