Radish Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup radish, chopped or grated
  • 1 tsp moong dal
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds

Method

    1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
    2. Stir in the chopped radish, dal, coriander paste, masala paste, turmeric powder and the salt.
    3. Add a little quantity of water, cover the pan with the lid and cook on a slow fire till the vegetable is tender and dry.
    4. Serve hot with rice or phulka or chapatti.
