Ribbed Gourd Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup ribbed gourd cubes
- 2 tsp masoor dal
- 1/2 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- few fenugreek seeds
- 2 small red chilies
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
Method
- Roast the chana dal, all the seeds and red chilies. Powder it.
- Heat oil and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Stir in the vegetable and a dal along with the salt and little quantity of water. Cover the pan with the lid and cook on slow fire till the vegetable is tender. Add powder and mix well. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
