Turnip Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup turnip, chopped
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander leaves paste
- 1/2 tsp mint leaves paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic-green chili paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Seasoning
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin seeds
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the seasoning ingredients.
- Add the masala paste and fry.
- Add the vegetable, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and mint paste and salt along with a little quantity of water. Cover the pan with the lid and cook till the contents are tender and dry.
- Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
